Destination Venus.

ahem.. before you read my version of this adventure, you should first read deepa's blog 'a week on venus' and then read vishal's blog - 'version 5.1 - a trip to venus'

Destination Venus.

10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1… ”Don’t just stand there! Get in! Fast!”, i shouted. i was already standing by the door which rumbled and started closing in. deepa was down on the ground - standing - all shocked. she had jokingly asked if she can tag along. and the reply from me was a quick one which took her by surprise. i slid a metal rod against the sliding door and jammed it. then i threw a rope down for deepa to hold on to. it was dark, she thought it was a snake and jumped up the railing and flew right past me. then, the metal rod cracked under pressure and the door slammed close.

i walked into the cockpit shaking my head and there was vishal toying with the buttons. which solved the mystery why the countdown had begun earlier than i had programmed. i was kinda pissed and thought why in the world did i bring him. then it dawned on me that it was he who had invited me. i suppressed my anger.

as i walked towards him, he saw deepa standing behind me. she was grinning wide. evidently happy that she was going with us. but he wasn't happy, i could see. after few stand offs and punching and re-punchings of buttons we finally decided to head towards venus.

i piloted the craft as we moved towards venus. both of them decided to take rest. in-between the journey, vishal jumped up and shouted - "drop me now, drop me now. i can see venus. i wanna be there first!" i kinda tried to stop him but he pressed the door button, opened the door and jumped. thankfully he was wearing his helmet. the air oozed out and i had to hold on to a metallic chair from being sucked out. i pressed the other button and closed the door. the pressure inside was thin. i punched in few more buttons which stabilised the pressure.

on the screen, i saw vishal whirling towards pluto. i dropped his belongings out thinking he might need it. after ten minutes, i decided to be nice and dropped the survival kit too.

deepa woke up after one hour. she lazily walked inside the cockpit. i was too busy navigating. she asked me where vishal was. i told her - "in pluto". she murmured, "oh" and sat down. started reading the duty shop free magazine. after ten minutes and a cup of coffee she asked me again. "pluto?!!!" she exclaimed, "i thought you were kidding. i thought he went to toilet." then, the debate - "to rescue him or not" began. it got over quickly. i conceded. well, i'm always nice to women.

after picking vishal up, we headed off to venus again. this time using the power boosters. it took us a week to find him. well you see, the pluto it seems doesnot stay at the same place and it orbits in weird circles and it is the smallest planet. deepa comforted vishal by telling him that he must have 'sleep-walked' out of the ship. i told him, "sorry". well, how was i suppose to know. he was wearing a helmet.

day 1: venus turned out to be a heaven. pink but with so many women... there was no time to complain. vishal went nuts and started cross-dressing. i think he wanted to feel like them in order to be closer to them. i had never seen such a grossly-dressed man. now, if i see my future wife wearing one of those pink laced panties, i will end up thinking of him. i switched on the tv but nothing i liked was on. so, i decided to sleep. but the thought of vishal in pink panties kept haunting me.

day 2: i was tired and sleepy. i decided to shave. well, i had to impress the women. cross-dressing was already taken. i forgot to carry the scissors though. well, you see i've never shaved in my entire life because i don't have a beard. except for few long strands of hair which has been growing under my chin for ages. 15 of them to be exact. the longest one measures three inches. women find it gross because it looks like pubic hair, they say. i do have a moustache though. short and widely spread like cat's whiskers. i use scissors to trim it.

since this was going to be my first experience regarding shaving, i did not know the exact process. the woman barber applied some warm gel which turned into a glue and soon, a super glue. then she yanked it out. i was in tears. partly because of pain and partly because it took me three years to grow it that long. i knew i would not be able to stand another such torturous process. and with 14 more to go, i knew i would pass out. so, i ran. ran out of the shop. so much for making an impression.

day 3: vishal stood on the tennis court the whole day. played for 10 minutes though. i slept the whole day. in the company of the ladies, of course.

day 4, 5 and the rest were same. vishal was always playing games with the pretty young things. i was busy playing different kind of game. and with so many women there and no sign of other men except us who was busy playing games with dames one way or the other, deepa nearly became a lesbian.

i discovered one thing there, though. because it's largely populated by women and since they knew about the problems women had to face especially during the pregnancy period, they had formulated a solution which sped the whole process of pregnancy. instead of nine months, it took only four days. trouble was brewing up and fast and in many numbers.

so, at the end of a week, i went over to deepa and said, "deepa, i think it's time for us to leave. blah blah blah and blah..." both of them were reluctant to leave at first. but i somehow managed to convince them. as we sat in our respective seats, i heard both of them murmur, "damn, i was this close to experiencing something new.". i smiled. i knew it was yet again going to be another lonely valentine's day in earth but after the adventure in venus, who is counting.
